Two specialist surgeons. One programme. Comprehensive coverage of GI, HPB, hernia, gynecologic, and oncological robotic surgery in Bengaluru.
Robotic ยท Laparoscopic
GI ยท HPB ยท Gynecology
The Robotic Surgery Programme at Dhaara Speciality Hospital, Yelahanka, Bengaluru is led by Dr. Srinivas Bojanapu (MBBS, MS, FACRSI, DrNB, PDF) for HPB, GI, hernia, and oncology surgery, and Dr. Prathima Srinivas (MBBS, MS OBG) for gynecologic surgery. Together they offer over 3,000 minimally invasive procedures and 500+ Da Vinci robotic cases.
Minimally invasive surgery consistently outperforms open surgery for patient recovery, blood loss, wound complications, and return to normal life โ while maintaining equivalent or superior cancer treatment outcomes. We adopted the Da Vinci robotic platform because it extends the benefits of minimally invasive surgery to the most complex operations: major hepatectomy, Whipple procedure, deep endometriosis excision, and large hernia reconstruction.
Robotic surgery is not a marketing tool at this programme โ it is used selectively, for the cases where its technical advantages (7-degree articulation, 10ร 3D magnification, tremor elimination) genuinely improve outcomes over standard laparoscopy or open surgery.
